If you are not currently registered to vote in the state of North Carolina or must change your registration, please visit the North Carolina State Board of Elections website:

The deadline to register to vote in this State is 25 days before the day of the election. Forms that are received by the county board of elections office or postmarked by the deadline are accepted as valid applications for the upcoming election.
If you did not register to vote 25 days before the election, you still can register to vote and vote at one stop voting sites during the early voting period. These sites are open before election day and close the weekend before the election. Check with the Wake County Board of Elections for the locations of these sites and the dates and times they are open.
